Why doesn't my free counter increment when I reload a page?

The counter will not count two sequential hits from the same ip address.

I did not receive the activation email with my password!

Check your junk mail folder (the junk filter could be too sensitive and the activation email might be marked as junk) and that your web server and your own email settings are not blocking messages. Also, you can request a new password from "Lost password" page.

Does Free Counter send SPAM emails?

NO. Free Counter does not share your email address with any other clients. Your email address is used only for verification, login and update notifications.

What is the difference between All Hits and Unique Visits?

This means you can increment your counter each time a page is viewed or only when a New visitor views a page.

Can I remove or alter the html code?

NO. The code is what 'pays' for our free counter and you cannot remove it or alter it. Doing so will result in your account being disabled. The code must appear where you have installed the free counter, or your free counter will be disabled.

What if I lost my password?

Anytime you lose your password you will have to go the the login page and click on the "Forgot your Password?" link. Fill in your e-mail address on the "Forgot your Password" page and your password will be e-mailed to you.

How do I delete my free counter?

If you want to remove the free counter from your website, you simply have to delete the html code from your website.

What if my free counter doesn't appear on my website?

First thing to check is that the code was copied correctly and inserted into the html page you want the free counter displayed on. Ensure you haven't changed the html code as this can affect the hit counter's performance. After that check to ensure that you have uploaded the page to the right directory on your web server. Next check to ensure that whichever web browser you are using is not using pop-up blocking software.
